This modem works perfectly well; we upgraded and no longer need it. HOWEVER, we were also told by Spectrum that while it would have continued to work on their system, they wouldn't activate it as a new device.
PLEASE: if you can't use it for parts or on your system, don't take it: we'll do an electronics recycling drop-off instead.
