Goodmans Radio, cassette tape and CD player (Port of Wisbech PE13)

Unfortunately, the CD player part may be broken.
Until recently, this worked very well, however, while the radio and cassette player still work fine, the door won't shut on the CD player part and so I have been unable to play CDs.
Maybe someone else can work out how to fix this.
