Old Trash Compactor (Berkeley)

We had this in our kitchen for over ten years, never used it. I don’t think it works anymore, and it’s missing the key to turn it on. But it’s a lot of steel which could be used for something, maybe recycling or scrap value, or some kind of art project? Dimensions:
