I bought this from Sony in 2011 and have finally decided to get a new one. It is on the original table top stand. The model is KDL55HX923 which I think was their top 55" at the time.
Even though it's 14 years old it's still working fine subject to a couple of things I note below which haven't bothered me but you should be aware of.
There's a line of pixels in the lower left which show at double brightness (I'm guessing due to some knock). You can't see them in dark scenes but they show as a brighter line in bright scenes - you can see an example in the photo I just took of the tennis. All I can say is that it's been like this for four years and I rarely even notice it.
The other thing is more minor that the television leans very slightly forwards on the stand (about 2-3 degrees only so practically vertical). This is obviously easy to fix and again really hasn't bothered me.
Other than that the pictures great and as you can see I've not felt and am only doing now because I took advantage of a good offer.
I've now idea how many years of use the television has left but it could easily be plenty more so would be an absolute shame if this just went into a landfill when someone else could be enjoying it as I have.
It originally came with some 3D glasses because that was a thing back then. I don't think I have them anymore but if I find them before you collect then you're welcome to have them too.
