Pair of jeans any size for sewing practice. (Fakenham NR21)

I am trying to learn how to use a sewing machine so that I can turn up some jeans and trousers. I had a piece of denim to work with but have now used it all and got nowhere. I've spent 2 days fiddling with tension settings but I can't get it right so I need a lot more material to practice on. If you only have a spare leg that would do.
