Computer monitor adaptor - these can be used to connect a monitor to a laptop.
There are two leads one you connect the VGA port to the device and then to a HDMI port.
the other is a separate lead which connects directly to a monitor and then to HDMI port
I spent ages trying to connect a VGA monitor to my laptop with multi screen and at some point obviously tried two different options. You can have both of these leads to see which one works best for you
