mountain bike/off road bike (Wallingford OX10)

I have only got a raleigh racing bike but its only good for smooth roads and no good for using to take my dog on off road tracks, woods, stony ground, over grass etc.. Would be happy to consider anything that works.😁many thanks in advance to you all!
