Hi, I have lots of Verbena Bonariensis and Welsh Poppy seedlings that have self seeded all over my garden. Happy to dig them up and put in pots if you'd like some.
Both are perennials and so come back year after year. They both self seed if you don't cut of the seed pods (hence I have them all over the garden).
I also have Welsh poppy seeds if you prefer. Just let me know.
Verbena bonariensis, also known as purpletop vervain or tall verbena, is a popular perennial in the UK, known for its tall, airy stems and clusters of small, purple flowers. It typically blooms from June to September, sometimes extending into October in milder areas. This plant is a favourite among UK gardeners due to its ability to attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, its long-lasting blooms, and its ability to add height and structure to borders. It grows up to 2 metres tall.
The Welsh poppy is a plant of damp and shady places, roadsides and hillsides. It is also a garden escapee. It flowers over summer, attracting nectar-loving insects.
My only request is that you reuse or recycle the pots I put the plants in. Please let me know how many of each plant you would like. I'll put more than one plant in a pot.
