Broken dryer (Midtown Newport News)

I purchased a dryer exactly like this 3 years ago. The hood no longer works. I’ve replaced it but I still have the broken hood. If there is an electrician that knows how to fix this, please come get it. When I replaced it, I only exchanged the hood part so the base is brand new still in the box
