I buy de ionised water for use in my steam iron. So occasionally I have these empty containers. Does anyone have a use for them? I've used some previously for storing wild bird seed as I can then hang them from my garage rafters so mice can't eat the seed. But I'm now running out of good ideas.
Maybe if you change your own engine oil they could be used to transfer the old oil to the council waste tip?
It seems a shame to throw them.
