This definitely works from the wind-up part and the mains. I can’t vouch for the solar part but I don’t see why it wouldn’t.
It has multiple wavebands, preset stations, a clock and alarm. Although some parts are fairly obvious, some of the finer points would require a manual, though I’m afraid I don’t have one any longer!
