This has served us well but we've upgraded as we needed a faster printer. It works perfectly fine and we've just put anew ink cartridge in it.
It also doubles as a scanne and prints photos too (if you buy the special photo paper.
The only issue is that it has a prominent mark on the top. One of the kids left some plasticine type material on the top whuch reacted with the plastic. If you're happy to put up with that you've got a decent family printer.
