See photos - the mill has a base which unscrews for refilling. To use the mill - turn it upside down and twist. It's a clever mechanism, as it keeps the surface which it stands on clean.
The only thing is, where the black base meets the clear acrylic, the join has over time worn a bit. It needs a soft touch to operate the mill - my husband is too heavy handed and manages to get into a war with the twisting action pretty much every time he uses the mill. Hence he demanded we replace the mill.
Is anyone interested in giving this a new home?
