KMix Stand Mixer - Broken (Pilrig EH6)

This KMix stand mixer currently does not work. When I plug it in and turn it on, it goes to full power briefly (even if I put it at the lowest setting) and then turns off. I have not looked into fixing this so am not sure how easily fixable this is. This stand mixer comes with all attachments but is missing the plastic ring nut that attaches the bowl to the mixer.
