We currently have a large pile of wood chippings in our communal gardens that are too large to mix with compost, which was our plan for them. However, they are suitable for a variety of other uses - suppress weeds, bonfires, barbecues or fire pits or stock up for your wood burning stoves.
While we have spread some over an area to suppress weeds, we are happy to give the rest away for free. For collection only, you will need to bring a suitable container and can take as much or as little as you need. We have wheelbarrows that you can use to transport the chippings to the garden gates.
