Riding Boots UK6.5 and Helmet 6 7/8 (Old) (Yateley GU46)

These are my horse riding boots and helmet bought from new in Canada a long time ago. My feet are a size 6.5UK / 40EU. I’ve just tried them on and although the leather has started to crack they still feel really soft and comfy on my feet. The riding helmet has never been hit by/with anything but I imagine that safety standards may have changed. Is size 6 7/8 which is a small size for a woman’s head but fit me perfectly. I’ve stored them away for years.
