Anything for starting out (Inverness IV1)

Hi there I have just moved into my first flat and as I work the council will not help me with anything such as white goods ect, I was wondering if anyone had anything they were getting rid of such as cooker, toaster, cutlery, mop or any furniture at all would be helpful. Thank you!
