Base for a garden parasol OR sand for the base I have (Old Radnor LD8)

The base I have for my garden parasol looks a bit like the one in the photo. When I got it, it worked well. But now it has somehow lost half its gritty sand and isn't heavy enough to stabilise the parasol. The wooden pole in the centre of the parasol is about 1.5 inches in diameter. If you have a spare base with a big enough hole in the middle, or if you have some spare sand/similar I could use to fill up the base I have, that would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Several freeglers have kindly suggested I try filling it up with water. I've done that, and it doesn't work in this particular case. Thanks everyone for the idea - it was definitely worth a try!
