Vintage large cane basket (Beckenham BR3)

This basket was hand made in the Azores in 1940. My Dad used it when he was stationed there in the war on an RAF training camp. He used to bring home pineapples in it and sell them on the black market so it has an interesting history.
We are downsizing so sadly it has to go.
Needs some repair and TLC but good condition considering it is 85 years old. I would like to give it to someone who values its history. Can't be used for carrying heavy stuff any more!
