Panasonic 32" TV+ Humax recorder. (Hillingdon UB10)

Any techies out there
 My well looked after Panasonic TV and Humax recorder failed on same day. TV has normal sound but no picture. The Humax switches on but then switches off. Someone may have the answer. Collection available most days.
