Gate leg table (Swinton (M27))

I have a 1970s gateleg table to gift. It is dark brown and has a varnished top, it is a bit rickety now and if used as a table needs a bit of tlc. Or could be upcycled. The wood is lovely and mainly undamaged.
The size when fully open is: 58.5"l, 33"w and 29" h. When closed it is: 33"w, 29"h and almost 13" d.
