I've just split up quite a large Aloe Vera plant and now have 12 baby plants potted up if anybody would like them. I think they should be OK as they do have roots on them.(See 1st and 2nd photos).
I also have maybe 20 or so bits of Aloe Vera Plants in water. These fell off during the splitting process and currently don't have roots but they normally root quite quickly in water. (See 3rd photo)
The last photo shows a similar plant to the one I have split up. Thought it might be helpful to see how the plants grow.
