Manhole cover & frame - Cast Iron (Welwyn AL6)

This Cast Iron inspection cover & frame was made & installed in 1967. It was then lifted in 1994 when we had building work carried out and has moved about our garden for 30 years now. The time has come for it to be passed on to someone who can put it to good use. It's heavy, it's got surface rust, the frame has a crack on one of the long sides, and the finger grips are rusted too, but it is still a very solid and usable item that could, and should do the job it was intended for, 100 yrs from now.
