Drawing / art boards. (Queen's Park BN2)

I have two of these thin (0.5cm) heavy duty pieces of cardboard ( 58x 45cm). They were holders for large pieces of blotting paper. Am wondering if anyone could use them as art boards or similar? The surface is very slightly dimpled but can still use them for writing boards. Protect your table from messy play? Repurpose for something?
