External Power adapter (Trefonen SY10)

Hi. I am looking for an external power adapter with a connector to supply power directly to older IDE Hard drives. I am wanting to remove data from 3.5" IDE drives to my laptop and format the drives prior to disposal - I have all the other cables required but my power adapter connection seems to be faulty. I could return it when task completed if required. Failing that I could possibly use a Power Extension Cable 4 pin LP4 Molex Male to Female which I could hardwire to my existing adapter to try - see photo for detail. Thanks for looking/reading
