Ceramic jug for mosaic work (Portishead (BS20))

I have a lovely wine decanter and a matching mug. Both are damaged and the missing pieces are lost, so not likely to be recoverable. I hate to discard them, so wondering if anyone can use them for crafts/mosaic pieces
