Hello, my mom has dementia and we're trying to get her to do... ANYTHING beyond sitting down and staring at the wall. She used to love reading romance storybooks - the Mills and Boons kind, bodice-rippers type of stories.

E-books are too complex for her to understand, so if you have any physical books of that genre/type, please let me know if you can donate them to me as I try to keep my mom's brain cells somewhat alive in the face of this horrible disease.

And no, sadly she doesn't like reading other genres, she's never been a classical lit fan, nor drama, nor detective etc -- bodice rippers all the way, please judge gently my caretaking of a difficult patient, dementia simply makes you become "more" the person you really are inside, and this is what she likes.
