Carpet cleaner/steam cleaner (Bingley (BD16))

This may be a lot to ask! I’m after a proper carpet cleaner or steam cleaner as I have a cat who keeps getting reinfected with Giardia. The recommendation has been to disinfect my house daily while undergoing (the fifth round!) of treatment which I’ve been doing throughout each course. The tricky thing has been keeping my carpets and upholstery clean - they’re really dark and it can be difficult to see if my cat has left any traces if she’s trodden in her litter box. I know a proper carpet cleaner/steam cleaner would really help as this has been ongoing since springtime. I’d be super grateful for any help!
