We have a maxi cosi car seat for 0-4 that is 7 years old. Still in great condition. Never been in an accident.
It is attached to the family fix iso fix car base. Unfortunately the mechanism to detach it is not working, so you can’t take the car seat out on its own. It only comes out with the full car base.
