Canon AIO printer (faulty) (Strood ME2)

Canon Pixma MG2550S All-In-One Printer, nearly new. Has a fault where the green (power) LED and the yellow(fault) LED flash alternately for 10 secs then repeats. I don’t know what the fault is as I have been using it on a Mac with the Mac’s own driver. Should/could be easy to fix. Included is a spare colour cartridge (the one installed has run out) and black, installed cartridge is approx half-full. If I don’t manage to shift it on here it goes to the dump.
