🌱✨ Seeking Materials for Teen Art Program ✨🌱

Hi neighbors,
I’ll be teaching a 2-week art program for high school students focused on sustainability and textiles. To make this possible, I’m collecting supplies and thought I’d reach out in case anyone has items they’d like to pass along.

I’m looking for:
    • Colorful fabric scraps (any size)
    • Sewing scissors, ruler & rotary cutter
    • Embroidery floss
    • Sashiko templates
    • Beads (any type)
    • Embellishments, trims, ribbons
    • Wool or felt sheets
    • Single or multi-needle tools for felting

Your donations will directly support students as they explore creativity while learning about reuse and sustainable art practices. 💚

Thanks so much to everyone suggesting FabMo! 💚 It’s actually one of my favorite places to shop, and I do plan to get some of the supplies from there. I also volunteer at FabMo as the Workshop Chair. 🌸

That said, from experience, it really depends on your luck — sometimes you’ll find exactly what you need, and other times you may have to go back a few times. That’s why I’m also reaching out here to see if anyone has extra materials they’d like to pass along. 🙋‍♀️✨
