The photo shows two of them that were planted in that wooden box a few years ago. Because of that, they have become dry and the roots are unable to grow properly. But I am reasonably sure they would be viable if replanted, though the one on the left isn't as good as the other one. Cherry laurels are very vigourous evergreens and you can see thriving specimens to the left of those two (and on the other side of that garden). The wheelie bin shows scale. If you bring two large pots (flexi tubs would be good) I can help you split them and prune off the dead branches etc so we can get them into your car (and I can clear up the mess in my bin).
