Turn table thingy (Beauchief S8)

Not sure what this is but it has foam that’s loose
It has ball bearings so it rotates
Swivels?
Lazy Susan type thing

We think it might be a turntable to get wheelchair users in and out of the car! Thanks Pete for the idea.
