🔍 Looking for Loupes to repurpose (Las Palmas)

I’m documenting the life cycle of the monarch caterpillars on my milkweed — grown from seeds I picked up at the Oakland Seed Library 🌱🦋 — and I’d love to take sharper, more detailed photos and videos.

I’m looking for a set of loupes that I can attach or adapt for my phone camera lens. I’ve used loupes before and had great results, but my current clip-on macro setup isn’t cutting it. I even tried a handheld phone microscope, but it was too hard to keep steady for good footage.

My next plan is to MacGyver a little loupe attachment for my phone — if anyone has spare jewlers loupes(even ones that have fallen apart), recommendations, or creative DIY ideas for this, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to message me with suggestions!
