Flymo Strimmer Contour 500e. (Carlisle CA1)

It ain't new but it strims fine, however, the machine seems to be stuck in the upright or edging position. I'm sure someone with a bit of technical knowledge could fix the problem. It also has some non Flymo string in it, which it doesn't seem to like. Every so often it will snag in the feeder and I have to take the feeder lid off and rewind the spool! Serves me right for not buying Flymo string! Other than that, it works fine! It's free, so save yourself £60 and take this away, please, it's too good to chuck on the tip!!
