Rainbow Playhouse with swings and slide (Five Ways SW19)

This playhouse was bought in kit form (e.g. wall and roof panels screwed together with coach screws) from Rainbow Play systems in about 2002. The timber is Canadian redwood. A shingle roof was added about 10 years ago to extend the life of the timbers by keeping them dry. It is now creaking a little when the swing is used and several timbers are rotten at the foot where it has been standing on a base of bark chips. It can be restored by being dismantled and rebuilt using new timbers where necessary. As it is in a rental property, we cannot justify the cost of the labour for this work. But it could be given a new lease of life by an enthusiastic amateur with some weekends to spare. We will help with dissassembly if necessary.
