The l it can rewind the plug can rewind the goes back into the vacuum is the best feature. We've had it for about six years and used it successfully and then recently there's a switch on there's a toggle on the base where you can switch to the carpet from the floor and it looks like somebody had a fit and smashed it. Somebody smashed it. If you know how to fix vacuum you could probably fix it easy you can still use the house I use that for a while with the attachments it's a great vacuum one when the carpet thing works when the roller works roller wrks. you could probably find the manual online now I replaced this on and off switch, which was one of my proudest moments so you can imagine easy porch pick up no contact if you want it. It's better than no vacuum. I'll tell you that it's got a hose
