Marantz CD-63SE CD player, with issues (East Finchley N2)

This hasn't been used for some years, and when I tried it recently the CD tray wouldn't open. A little lubrication and replacing the drive belt with a rubber band from a bunch of spring onions fixed that – in the short term at least – but once CD are inserted they are now not spinning/being read.
