Do you have an orchid that is doing "sort of okay-ish," but never blooms?

Do you have zero clue how to repot an orchid, and no interest in learning a skill you probably won't use again? (See above, why would you cater to your nonblooming ungrateful plant roommates? Why buy all the potting materials for just one or two plants? Why post a request for help in your freecycle community for something you've felt meh about?)

We are offering to foster a few orchids back to health and happiness. (One of us works in household assistance, and will be leading the team for this gift clinic.) We have above average expertise as houseplant hobbyists, but we are not in a houseplant business and aren't here to upsell. (It's a normal household-to-household freecycle service gift.)

Details:

* Potted (preferably with a drainage liner if in a cache/nondraining pot),

* Have no infestations (this is a clinic not a hospital).

* Arrive to clinic before Oct 15

* Return to you by Nov 10

* Communicate, please. No ghosting!

We will happily pick up and drop off for anyone within walking distance of our NW Ballard area. (Farther requesters will need to do their own pickup and drop-off in NW Ballard.)

We will do our utmost to care for your plant friend and encourage fresh buds/blooms.That's the whole point of this gift! There are no children or pets at this household. Tools will be sanitized between plants (as a precaution).

We will strive to minimize risk and do no harm but we cannot guarantee immediate visible improvement and not all plants in crisis can be rescued (repotting is ALSO a stressor).
