Historical Science Magazines (Needham IP20)

I have to keep reminding myself that the 1950s are now history- but so they are. I have a neatly collected set of Discovery magazines from the 1950s that I cannot bring myself to put in recycling. Examples: Francis Crick's article on "The Structure and Function of DNA" (1953!), an article on the accounting system used by the flint-knappers still working near Grimes Graves and using an accounting system with echoes of those of their Neolithic predecessors, an article on machine translation ("Calculating MAchines and Mechanical Translation"-1954). Someone, please rescue these for me! And if they turn out to be a mistake, they can go in domestic recycling with no feeling of guilt. Photos follow, but I want to get this listing done and off my conscience.
