I'm looking for a smallish basic Android smartphone for my partner's grand daughter to take with her on a school trip. She'll be away for the best part of a week and needs something to stay in touch in case of any emergencies and to take some photos. A smartphone rather than a non smart phone as we think that a video call over WhatsApp will be more comforting to her (and us) than a sound only phone call. It'll be her first time away from home without her parents and I'm certain she'll be homesick.
It doesn't need to be anything fancy of very up to date - So long as it can make calls, connect to the internet for WhatsApp and take photos. The screen needs to be intact but if the case is a bit battered that's fine
I could collect most evenings after about 6pm
