Preserving bottles/jars (Great Maplestead CO9)

Any spare airtight bottles (ideally 1L, with the swing top lids) or jars (must be possible for them to be airtight, so Kilner jars or similar ideally) would be gratefully received as I have a glut of apples that I need to do things with!
