Two are designed to hold a bag of meusli and have a lift up flap. We never got the hang of this and have used them for keeping open bags of noodles and so on in.
The other two are quite old and very solid. I believe that they are for keeping reconstituted milk from dried milk in. Slim, so fit in the fridge door. The lid is quite a fiddle to fit on as it fits quite tightly, so no use if you want to frequently open and close it. Has a little flap for pouring.
