Wicker / Lloyd Loom armchair, needs TLC (Southborough TN4)

I'm not quite sure of the material here - it seems to be twisted paper, so I guess it's Lloyd Loom, likely dating back to the 70s / 80s :) It's currently white but it's been painted several times. It has some damage to the front (second picture), so probably needs some TLC - either that or it might be some use in a summer house, or garden/allotment shed??
