Part roll of 2 ply barbed wire.
FREEGLE NOTE:
Barbed wire is not illegal, but its use is regulated and restricted due to safety and liability concerns.
It is restricted on land near public highways to prevent injury to people and animals, and using it to deter intruders is strongly discouraged because property owners have a duty of care to protect trespassers from harm.
Regulations and Restrictions
Near public highways:
Barbed wire must not pose a danger or nuisance to those using public rights of way. Local authorities can order its removal if it violates clearance requirements, typically around 2.4 metres from a highway.
Residential areas:
Using barbed wire to protect residential buildings is not recommended by police forces due to the high risk of injury.
Duty of care:
Property owners have a legal duty of care to protect people on their property, including trespassers, from foreseeable harm. Using barbed wire to stop intruders can make you liable for civil action if someone is injured.
