Trampoline base where one jumps on (Risinghurst OX3)

Our trampoline was old and finally broke the posts. We have got the actual round base where you jump on left - pretty intact (12ft trampoline) - it might be a good cover to cover soil over the winter for people who like to cover it in plastic to suppress weeds?
