Floor runners or old rugs (Ashington NE63)

I have 2 ageing Akitas with crippling arthritis and wondered if anybody had any old floor runners or rugs they no longer needed. Would just stop them slipping on the kitchen floor. Large kitchen and almost managed to cover the lot but my males still managing to find the slippy parts not covered!
