Piece of Toughened Glass, For Example (CT2)

I have a slatted shelf on a storage unit. But the slats aren’t very practical, as things fall over. I was wondering whether anyone might have an old shelf from a fridge, for example that I could place over the top of it? Or perhaps an unwanted glass chopping board …
