The unit has one shelf and two sliding pieces for hanging files. They slide along runners however I only seem to have one pair. All can be removed and are adjustable. Measurements are approximately:

Depth:52.5cm
The unit is very sturdy and has a solid mdf back. Quite a heavy piece so it would require two people or need to be dismantled.
