Please read this carefully:
British Moth sail number 633. Lovely little boat, wooden deck and fibreglass hull. Sails nicely.
In need of some repairs- the deck took a knock as photographed. The gasket either side of the centre board needs reaffixing. So bit of a winter project for someone. Offered with two sails- 633 is in need of some minor repairs. 647 is in good condition and came from a very similar Moth, sadly scrapped.
I has a launching trailer but no road trailer. Happy to help with loading if being taken away- will need a big van or a decent trailer. Currently at Bristol Avon Sailing Club, Saltford. A good option is to join the club though, in which case the boat can stay there.
I will attach one pic from when I last varnished to give an idea of how good it can look with some TLC!
Have a think about this before requesting- taking on a boat is a big responsibility, especially a wooden decked one. I have found I just don't have the time to put into it, hence this listing! People need to tell me a bit about their plans both to move it (if that is the plan) and going forward so I can gauge if you actually know what you are taking on (and will not ghost me when the time comes to collect).
